First mixed kids cricket match in Peruvian history to be played in October

The big news this month has been the advances made in Schools Cricket.  San Silvestre (Girl’s School) has been running a Cricket activity under the supervision of last year’s Vice Captain of Lima Cricket (LCFC), Spencer Bailey; meanwhile Gap teacher Michael Brown has been working hard at Markham College (mixed school).  The girls have been responding well and their learning curve has been perhaps bigger than that of the boys.  So much so that the girls of San Silvestre have challenged the 13-year-old boys at Markham to a game in mid-October!
