Ex-Cricket Peru coach dishes dirt to Australian newspaper

Tim Kernutt, who starred for the Kiteflyers in the 2010 season, as well as coaching the Cricket Peru Under-13 team in the Cricket South America Championships, has sold his story to the broadsheet, The Australian, in a kiss-and-tell expose of life in one of the ICC’s newest affiliate nations. To quote from the article, ‘there are tears, hugs and wild displays of affection’.
Kernutt, a lawyer by training, does not pull any punches when describing his colleagues’ achievements: ‘Less successful is the girls’ team, whose members appear to be more interested in discussing Hollywood celebrities and my co-coach Luke’s haircut than playing.’
