Off the field, it will be remembered for the camaraderie amongst the players, officials and spectators. A trip to the Circuito Magico del Agua, on Saturday evening, was undoubtedly a social highlight for the teams.

To illustrate this, we have been delighted to receive a number of very positive testimonials.

Grant Dugmore, CEO of Cricket Argentina, writes:

‘Thanks Cricket Peru, for organising and hosting a great event!!’

Cricket Chile’s High Performance Manager, Craig Andrews, kindly expresses his gratitude:

‘On behalf of myself and the whole Chilean Under-13 squad, I would like to thank you all for a great 4 days in Peru! The tournament ran very smoothly I thought: airport pick-up, hostel, grounds, food and cricket was fantastic.

Well done to Cricket Peru for holding another fantastic under 13 tournament.’

And Grant Hayne, father of Peruvian Under-13 player, Noah Hayne, has written to Cricket Peru President, Harry Hildebrand to show his appreciation:

‘Dear Harry:

Thanks so much for your energy and efforts in putting together the recent 13-and-under SA cricket championships.  More importantly, thank you for allowing Noah to join the team and represent Peru!  What a wonderful experience for him.  I’m sorry his offensive output was a tad underwhelming (to be diplomatic). Too many years of American baseball!

Your passion for both the sport and for developing junior talent is a fantastic asset for the future of cricket in Peru.  Thank you, and thanks to your wonderful coaching staff.’
